Couples Counseling/ Pre-Marital

Couples counseling helps partners strengthen their relationship by improving communication, deepening emotional connection, and developing healthier ways to navigate conflict and life's challenges together.  Through a supportive and non- judgemental process, couples  gain insight into relationship patterns, attachment styles, communication habits, and unmet emotional needs that may be creating disconnection or tension. Within counseling sessions Ajah provides practical education and tools through assessments to help partners build trust, improve intimacy, increase emotional safety, and develop effective conflict- resolution skills.  Whether couples are facing ongoing challenges or simply want to strengthen their relationship, couples therapy promotes greater understanding, teamwork, and long-term relational health. 

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy sessions provide a safe, supportive space for personal growth, self- discovery, and healing. With her guidance, individuals can gain deeper insight into their thoughts, emotions, behaviors and life experiences while developing healthier coping skills, emotional regulation, confidence, and self awareness. Therapy can address challenges such as: anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, relational difficulties, life transitions or feeling stuck, while also empowering individuals to break unhealthy patterns and move forward toward their goals with greater clarity and purpose. By fostering resilience, personal accountability, and emotional well-being, Ajah helps her clients become the healthiest, most authentic version of themselves.

Family Therapy

Family Therapy is a collaborative approach tat helps families improve communication, strengthen relationships, resolve conflict and create healthier patterns of interaction within the home. Rather than focusing on one individual alone family therapy looks at how each family member impacts the overall family dynamic and woks to build greater understanding, emotional connection, trust and support between one another. Through guided conversations and group psychoeducation, Ajah facilitates discussions that encourage clear communication, emotional regulation, healthier boundaries, improved problem solving, and support among family members to restore harmony and connection.

Play and Art Therapy

Art and Play Therapy are creative, evidence- based approaches that help children, teens, and neurodivergent clients express emotions, process experiences and develop healthy coping skills in a safe and supportive environment. Through activities such as drawing, painting, storytelling, and imaginative play Ajah empowers her clients to explore emotions, build self awareness, improve emotional regulation and increase confidence in ways that feel natural and compliment their developmental stage in life. Because play and creativity often allow deeper emotional expression than words alone, these approaches can be powerful tools for healing, growth and connection!

EMDR for Trauma and PTSD

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a highly effective, evidence- based therapy designed to help individuals process and heal from trauma, distressing experiences, anxiety, negative beliefs, and emotional triggers that may feel "stuck" in the nervous system. Using guided bilateral stimulation and structured therapeutic techniques, EMDR helps the brain reprocess painful memories in a way that reduces emotional distress while promoting healing, resilience, and healthier thought patterns. Many clients experience relief from symptoms such as: anxiety, panic, low self-esteem, grief, PTSD, and emotional overwhelm while gaining a greater sense of confidence, emotional balance, and inner peace. With EMDR Ajah helps her clients move beyond survival mode and create lasting emotional clarity, healing, and peace of mind.
